Canadian Experience Class applications
We’re working at full capacity to process applications.

You may experience delays because we have a backlog of applications due to COVID-19.

We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between
May 24 and 30, 2020 ?
If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it.

I just want to share that I have finally received the COPR in my profile. There was no email sent or ghost updates, as always I was just checking my application status hourly and saw that it has changed to Approved.

CEC Inland 1 Dependent Spouse
AOR Sept 23
Medical Passed Nov 6
Biometrics given Jan 2020
ADR Feb 23
ADR Submitted Feb 25
ADR Status Not Applicable March 6
ADR Email Acknowledgement March 11
COPR March 16

VO: Unknown, but probably Ottawa or Etobicoke coz I live in Toronto. I didn’t order GCMS or asked the Call Centre Agent when I called regarding status.

I dreamt last night that someone was handing me my PR card and I knew it was God telling me “The long wait is over, be still and know that I am God”. This morning, we got our Confirmation of Permanent Residence. To everyone who are still waiting, I’d like to encourage you to not lose hope and pray without ceasing. Your good news is on its way. All the best to everyone!
Hi,
Great news. Congratulations!
Could you please clarify what was the eligibility stage (before recommended pass or after) when the ADR was requested?

I called after submitting my ADR on Feb 25. Eligibility was Recommended Passed, Criminality Passed, Info Sharing Complete and Security in Progress at that time. I got the Not Applicable Status for ADR on March 6.

@legalfalcon

Hi everyone need some advice, me & my husband have a September 24th AOR, CEC Inland applicants and the last time we called IRCC, they said everything is passed and only the final decision is pending.

We might need to travel back home (India) soon and are wondering if it’s a good idea to go back before our COPR. My husband is currently on his post graduate open work permit and I’m on my bridging work permit, he has a valid travel document but mine is expired, would it be a good idea for me to apply for a travel document and go back home before getting our COPR?
Please advise.

TIA

Hi there.. what's your Visa office?
And for background check, does your profile say "Your application is in progress" or "We are processing your background check..."??
My VO is Ottawa. My background check says " We are processing your background check.."..what does this mean. you got any idea?

It is usually referred to as IP2 or false IP2. False IP2 is seen in the initial stages when BGC has not been initiated yet. Once they initiate the BGC, 'We are processing your background check' changes to 'Your application is in progress', which is referred as IP1. After IP1, the BGC changes to False IP2 when they initiate Security check. So False IP2 is the last step of BGC and usually where the application becomes stagnant.

What did the agent told you about your status?
Can

Y
Can you please share the contact number you used to contact IRCC!?
(888) 242-2100

follow the instructions. You will get an option to specify UCI and then application number, you will hear automated status (same as CIC page) and then system will transfer to an agent. you can provide call back number.. if waiting time is more, then you will be asked to call again.

I have tried multiple times, i never got through and i have never been asked to provide call back number. The call.just ends by saying there is no customer representative available.
