For Mandamus 2 years or 2.5+ considering the processing time is 12 months. Also I have provided them with each and every document. So if you believe you have provided them the most detail then go for mandamus.

So, even to go with writ of Mandamus, we need to wait until 2021 Aug at minimum?

The backlog was created because of cpc Sydney closing down . Now they have expanded and are mostly processing applications for family reunifications. If you're single you're application could take longer . According to Cic they are processing march 10 to march 16 2019 applications for citizenship. Regarding tests if your relevant regional office already has your file then you'll get test soon but if it's with cpc Sydney it could take a while. Paper based applications are not moving .

Mine is family application and is with Scarborough office. Still no test invite yet.

Paper based applications are NOT moving
All CIC offices are working on 30% capacity or below.

We are being misleaded, that’s it. I have seen people from Nov2019 got test invite last week.
