(I'm the main applicant, not a sponsor) If I indicate in the form "Schedule A Background" my current job, but in a few months after my application is submitted I change my job, should I update somehow that information? Is it necessary to update the information?

You must update if there is any material change. Since your sponsorship is not directly dependent on having the specific previous job, no, it's not necessarily material. If the job was abroad, yes; or changed which destination province (esp Quebec), perhaps. If you separated from spouse or started a different relationship, yes - material.
