HI everyone!
I got my invitation to apply for express entry, I have my workpermit valid just for 10 more days. The company I work for, decided that they do not want to offer me a new job offer and any help with permanent resident application. I have not submitted any documents, but I have all the documents ready to upload (medical exam, passport, education etc. ) except a new job offer (because my old one is almost 2 years old and immigration requieres to be less than 1 year old), ROE and Letter of employment. First question is: Can I send my old job offer with the application ?
I know I can apply for bridging work permit when I send all documents to immigration. But before that I need to receive missing documents from my current employer. Is it possible to make an extension for my current work permit ( it is a sponsorship through Free Trade Agreement between Colombia & Canada) to do not lose my status until I would wait for bridging work permit? Or? What should I do?
Thank you for your help in advance

Have you claimed points for having a job offer? Do you need those points to meet the ITA cut off?

You can submit the old job offer with the application. However since IRCC requires the job offer to be less than 1 year old, you should expect that IRCC will not accept the old job offer.

You can only apply to extend your current work permit if you have a new job offer letter from your current employer.

If you can submit your PR application while your current work permit is still valid, then you can apply for a BOWP. This is most likely the best option for you. As long as you submit the BOWP application before your current work permit expires, you will have implied status and can continue working for your current employer.

Thanks for your answer.
I claimed my job offer for the points, but as you know I got in the last February when de draw was 75. So I think I have enough points with my English test and work experience..
If they don’t want to extend or give me new job offer, should I don’t present it ?

thanks for your help, I am really confused
