March 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

I just still don’t understand as I don’t see a lot of March 2019 applicants getting citizenship in this forum or fb a lot.. But definitely yes I understand about what you mean by 80%. Just trying to find some hope left somewhere..

The hope is in the fact that at least 20% is outside that Mar. 2019 period, and we will see some better news coming soon.

Hey guys - wanted to ask for an opinion. My passport expired and so did my PR, I applied for Canadian citizenship in March 2020.
In order to renew my current nationality, embassy is asking for a no record certificate - proof that I haven't applied for Canadian citizenship and since my PR expired, proof that I've applied. I need to go home in the next 2-3 months. What do I do?

Postpone travel home few months, once you have Canadian passport you'll good to go.
Or if it's something urgent, try to call your local immigration office explain your reasons maybe they can/will speed up process a little.

I did yesterday, got a message by the CIC agent that all checks are completed, and waiting for test invite. I am not sure whether this information is correct. She said, 2019 test inviation are in-progress, do not know as 2020 applications needs to wait more.

I am planning to request GCMS notes, and see

Mine said, it's in progress and I will know the next step when they are done. I guess the next step is test, but not sure when we will get that. I think they are still doing 2019.

I think very few 2020 paper and non-urgent applicants did receive test invite but it may not be full time until all 2019 is complete I guess. So next year for most of us.

When I ordered my notes, I think it took almost exactly a month to be delivered; I ordered it last October, got it the following November at the same date minus one day.

Does gcms notes include the call history that we make to Ircc

Well, only from the last few pages of this thread, I saw at least one already took the oath, and a some already received the online test invitation, while many of Nov 2019 applicants haven't received the test invitation, yet.
