Hi everyone! I have heard about so many cases of files being sent back because the zip/postal code and country where missing on addresses coming from the US and Canada, but others taken by merciful agents got marked as completed. I realized that when I sent my application on December 1, 2020 I made the same mistake. I have read posts of people sending web forms and trying to fix it. Is it possible for me to talk to any CIC agent or being able to send a web form? Since it has been no more than three months since I sent the application? Or should I just embrace the fact that my application will likely be returned?

Hope everybody is having a lovely day ☺️

I would wait until you get an update from IRCC via email for the AOR. If you contact IRCC right now, you may possibly get a temporary file number that starts with FX. But you still cannot use that to send in a web form about your application.

I think you can only update/submit your web form after you get your permanent application number (FXXXXXX). So I would wait until then to upload additional document/letter. Or you can call IRCC right now to ask for an update

If one is worried the file may be rejected and sent back before AOR, how does waiting for AOR make sense?

It is possible to submit revised and corrected forms etc beforehand, even without a file number. It may not be matched with the file or be accepted, but some have had success with this and trying may ne netter than just waiting.
