I did not sign it and it was fine but yes sign it better safe then sorry
Yeah honestly there is no need to sign it as we shouldn’t be signing where we’re not supposed to and they too probably want us to only sign where they’ve mentioned but their guidelines are too generic at times and we’re usually (and rightly) paranoid about sending the perfect immigration application lol so I proudly signed and dated the checklist as well. #ThingsWeDo

Hi

As per the instructions forms should be in below order.

  1. copy of the invitation to apply letter with your confirmation number
  2. document checklist
  3. any barcode pages
  4. application forms and supporting documents, in the order they are listed on the document checklist

But I followed below order, will there be any problem -

  1. copy of the invitation to apply letter with your confirmation number
  2. document checklist
  3. each application form(followed by barcode page, if they are available) and supporting documents, in the order they are listed on the document checklist
Will there be any problem.

One more question, I mailed my application yesterday.
As per Canada post, my application will be delivered on Mar 03rd. As per the initial letter I should send the package before Mar 15th.

March 15th is when the application should be delivered (or) when they open the application.

Also I didn't sign the document checklist - will there be any problem.

Thanks

- I don’t think the barcode pages need to be attached loosely (separate from their intended IMM forms). The way you did it with each application followed by it’s available barcode page is correct.

- If your application reaches them meaning it’s delivered to them before March 15, then you’re fine. They will eventually open it whenever they get to it.

- A lot of applicants haven’t signed the document checklist. Common sense dictates not to, being extra particular and paranoid about things and you’d have signed. Either way you should be fine. As long as everything else is how it’s supposed to be, I don’t think they’d reject your application.

All the best!

I don’t think there is a way to know if IRCC has actually received your specific application until they issue an AOR to you. However, if Canada Post says that they have delivered your application or if they say that they have delivered your package to recipient’s delivery partner, be rest assured that they have received your package and IRCC definitely has it and will get to it/open it gradually. If you’re wondering when will you get an AOR, based on this forum I’ve learned that it can take a few weeks to a few months. Always a good idea to keep an eye on the tracker to get a general idea of how everyone’s applications are progressing. Hope this helps!

I checked the below link - https://immitrackerpro.com/ca/pgp

I could see many applicants updated as - documents requested in Feb 2021 for applications sent on Jan 2021.
How come they are getting the updates from CIC so fast.
These are documents requested that are missing documents. Getting a document request is not necessarily a good thing because it means you forgot to include or missed including a certain document the first time around and you have to go through the trouble of providing them that document. So if you have correctly submitted an application then you may not receive a document request. Getting AOR takes time. Last I checked, no one has received it based on the tracker.

As per Canada post tracking application received at Ottawa on Feb 12, however no AOR. What should I do?
Receiving an AOR is not something that happens immediately after they receive your application. Based on previous applications from previous years, AOR will take few weeks to few months. Be rest assured that they have received your application if Canada Post or any other courier or postal service says that they’ve delivered your package. We’ve made it this far. Patience.

This is what Canada post tracking says. Are we allowed to repost another set of forms?
Also, I am planning to call CIC on Monday.
