Hello.

I had recieved my ITA for express entry by mid of December 2019 and submitted my profile on 11 Feb 2020.

Expected completion date was 6 months which turns out to be 11th August 2020 but nothing recieved till date.

As on today it's more than a year since my submission but no word recieved apart from regular automated message saying we do not require any additional information.

I also called help center to inquire and they responded that your file has been reviewed and no additional documents are required. Last decision is pending.

Can anybody guide me further if at all I am missing something?
You may get more info if you check the Feb 2020 AOR thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/february-2020-aor.676103/

Hello,
My passport will expire in a few months , and in my country when we renew our expired passports the new ones gets different numbers , so by the time my application gets processed completely I will have a new passport with different number, will this cause a problem in my case , what should I do?

When you get your new passport, send the scanned biographic page to IRCC via webform.

A timeline showed up on my application saying it’s currently 22% complete and estimated to be completed in 5 months. Hope this helps!

Let's say my passport is still valid but will expire soon and I got an email from them requesting me to send them my passport for PR visa stamping. Will sending them a new one without informing through webform about passport renewal cause a problem?

The reason I'm asking is I don't want more delays like sending them a new one through webform and waiting for them to update it, this may take time I believe.

I’m not sure on the “not informing IRCC” bit. To be safe, if you can renew your passport as early as now, do so.

sending new passport information won’t delay your application or anything. They have your old passport information and biometrics so IRCC can kickstart any background checks when your application reaches that stage.

Normally, IRCC will send you an acknowledgement within 5-10 business days saying they’ve attached the new information/document provided in your file.

Received this email. Do I need to present the fee receipt that I got after the payment (when submitted my application, around 1410 dollars) as biometrics fee receipt? Or is there some separate biometrics fee receipt that I'm missing out?

Kindly help

They don't ask for it as they already know that fees has been paid but in case if they do, yeah it's the same $1410 one.

FYI.., VFS is collecting upfront fees for PPR handling. For normal service, the fee is around Rs.2000 and the Premium service is Rs.3050. They accept only cash and UPI, no card payments. Make sure you carry your Appointment Letter, BIL, valid Passport, and other documents mentioned in your BIL and the appointment letter.
