@bbjeon38 - The article says - "From September 17, 2020 to November 17, 2020, provincial and territorial jurisdictions may request that paper-based Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications be placed on hold in cases where an applicant no longer has a valid job offer as a result of COVID-19 and their application was received prior to March 18, 2020. Applications will be put on hold until March 17, 2021, or until a new job offer is received ".

Why would they place everybody's file on hold? Only the ones who lost job right? If they really do put all job offer PNPs before Mar 2020 on hold, atleast we now know the next hopeful date -- March 2021 end ;).

Where did you see it ??? Like is this for august applicants :(:(
This page was there since long time. Its not a new webpage they put yesterday, Lot of discussions happened in another thread.

All I know is within the coming next few weeks, all the 27000 or odd CEC candidates are going to start flooding the system for sure with their complete/incomplete applications. Either get updates before that, or we paper delivery guys are out of luck until maybe a very long time. Very unlikely they will prioritise us in any way. Probably an officer or 2 at most working for paper stuff. I just dont want to be in that situation. I do hope not.

This is from last September update. It’s only for who lost job . Not for everyone. If you don’t have job then this case applies to you.

Since you have a MR from IRCC (not upfront), you should expect to see DM in ECAS within a month from now. please raise GCMS if you are inland here -- https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/transparency/access-information-privacy/requests-information-act.html

Chose the $5 option whatever it is. I guess its called personal information. Dont forget to attach auth. letter for getting spouse records + both parents should sign for the kiddos. Takes about 30-40 days to showup in your email.
Thanks so much!

send them a webform with your UCI number (this can be found on your work permit) on that so they can locate and add the additional document to your application.
1- they will add it
2- if the document is important, they might mark your application as incomplete and send it back after 3month
3- if the document is not important, they just do a complete check, give you the AOR with Application number, ask you to link it online, then ask for Additional Document, this time you will submit via GC key online.

I've been there before (missed 1 document as Spouse Background Declaration), they just asked for it. We scanned and sent them online.
I already did yesterday but i m worry because it’s already been 6 months now and no AOR still

6 months, nothing to worry. 9 months, yes - maybe. Even if sent back, provinces support you again. Be positive.

HI,

I need one clarification - I have applied for paper based PR after getting PNP in NOvember, 2020.
Now, I also have received the ITA from express entry profile. I am interested to go with Express Entry.

Question:

1. Can I reuse the money paid for paper based PR application towards express entry payment?
2. Is it possible to let both express entry and paper based application go in parallel?
3. How to apply for refund for application payment made towards paper based application?

Regards.

1. Only if you withdraw your application you can get refund (full or partial, depends on how far your application is under PNP); there is no way to transfer money on your behalf (like IRCC wont do it for you)
2. Yes, you can have both at the same time (but remember: it means you have to pay all fees for EE again)
3. Check withdrawal policy
