I am a general practitioner in my country. My field requires a license to practice in Canada but I was thinking of applying trough express entry before taking the licensure exam. I was wondering what non clinical job I can apply to in order to come with a job offer.
I also read somewhere that the job offer has to be in the same NOC code as that of my work experience. Any information you have on this would be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

You don’t need a job offer to apply to Express Entry. You need education assessments and language tests to put your name in the pool. Job offers are very difficult to get as the employer needs an approved LMIA (prove their is no Canadian or PR that could be hired). So don’t expect a job offer.

The job offer needs to be in a NOC A, B or 0 occupation (i.e. skilled occupation) and your employer in Canada must obtain an approved LMIA. The NOC does not have to be the same as your work experience - however it should be in a field that is somehow related to your work experience or education or your employer will struggle to get the LMIA approved.
