Congratulations! I see that your status changed to DM pretty quickly after you took the exam. I took mine on Jan. 24 and my status has not changed yet.

Thanks! I'm guessing you are from the Surrey office right? If yes, I read that they're a bit slower than Vancouver.

I hope you get DM soon though.

I did test on 23 January (Scarborough) and I spoke to an customer representative on phone a while ago.

Per conversation, no one has touched my file. Since my fingerprints are expiring soon, I was advised to send a webform asking for a status. So I did! I asked a very tight lipped question asking for status and specifically when I will get an Oath invite. I am on a right rope, either I will get an invite within a week or my file will go back to the pile of dust once they send me a new fingerprint request.

I mean, it is what it is......voila?

Every case is different, and so is every officer. Let's see what comes next.

When did you apply?

Also any idea when do fingerprints expire?

Canadian citizenship test ( private group) but if you request access they will add..

I had an invite for an in-person Citizenship test on March 17, 2020. But got cancelled due to COVID. Waiting for online test invite/letter. Can anybody share their timelines? Any idea on how to get it.

April 2019 applicant here. Test Cancelled March 2020. Just received online citizenship test invitations for Feb 19 until March 11. Scarborough Office.

By email. Got it around an hour ago. Date before was March 26, 2020, Cancelled on March 14 due to COVID.
