Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Having a sponsor is fine as long as you support it with proper documents and explanation in your SOP. For the refund, it depends on the school's policy so check it with the school.
We are on the same stage. I'm waiting for my LOA from the school. Usually they refund the tuition fee, but not the application fee.
Thanks for the info. Would you know of Canada requires an IELTS exam from their designatedncompany or I can take it wherever it is being offered?
Hello, I'm applying for May 2021 as well. I lodged my application through SDS this February 8, 2021. So far, biometrics collection pa lang ang latest update ng application ko.
Nag pa biometrics ka na? Valid pa kasi yung biometrics ko I wonder if this will speed up the process a bit or not. Will submit my application pa lang this week.

hello! looks like the same tayo, may valid biometrics. i think mabilis kasi we lodged our application last week and our biometrics were already updated plus medical exam passed.. both updates within a week.

Approved na student permit ng sis in law ko while her husband (my brother) approved na ang OWP. Their son na 3y/o, approved na rin as visitor. Pero ang 10y/o na anak nila ay denied kasi visitor's visa ang inapply namin as advised by their agent. Dapat pala student permit din kasi school age na pamangkin ko. Ang problem namin is when attaching his application at after answering the questionnaires, not eligible daw sya for a student permit. Pano kaya gagawin namin? Kawawa naman po pamangkin ko if maiiwan sya here.
