Congratulations! So happy for you.

Quick question: my PR has also been approved, I used a lawyer for my application and I have sent my copr and two photographs to ircc for my pr card. Since everything came from his email, do I also need to link my pr card application to my gc key in my account? If yes, please how do I do that? TIA :)

Thanks bud and congrats to you as well. You can create a new gc key account and add application there. You can add it bases on your personal details and UCI number mentioned in copr letter.. it will be separate applications for you and your dependents

Thank you .. That was very deep.

So, the time gap between the info. sharing & criminality completed to Security - what's happening there ?? As per my understanding - My eligibility was passed in end of Nov 2020.

Does some agent has to literally go into initiate the security ??
For security, IRCC has to send a request to the National Security Screening Division (NSSD) and screening partners. To read on security, how it is done and the manual, see https://bit.ly/2Ne2Oft

Hello everyone,

I need advice/insights on this please. I am currently a student in Canada. Had to go back to school in 2020 cos my first PR application was refused in 2019 due to wrong NOC code and my work permit expired then too (BOWP was also declined). I reapplied for PR on June 17 2020 and got approved January 30th, 2021 (I have sent my copr with two passports as requested by IRCC for my PR Card). I have applied for and gotten my new SIN, given it to my current employer and also informed my school of my change in status (International student to domestic student)

My question is this: since I am now a domestic student, I know I am no longer under the rule which says int'l students are to work for only 20hrs/week. I already have a part-time job where i still do 20hrs/week. Can I get another job so I get more hours to work, even up to 40-45 hours/week? Will this be an issue with CRA and/or IRCC in future?
I'll be done with school by April 2021.

@legalfalcon and anyone else with insights on this, please help me. TIA! :)

If you are. PR, you can work anywhere and as many hours for as many employers.

You are no longer bound by the rule for international students.

Thanks @legalfalcon ... you're such a great help.

I sent My copr and photos on Feb 3rd 2021, I understand I also need to link my PR card application with gc key in my online account. Please do you know how it is done? Please help. Is it also late to do such?
I used a lawyer for this application and I thought they'll communicate with him if they have any issues with the photos.
TIA! ☺

Personal details as DoB, Name and UCI.. create a new gc key account and you will see the option to add applications.. when you click on that, you can search the application based on above details

Thank you! Sorry for my numerous questions. I applied for PR through a lawyer though. I still have to go ahead to link my PR card to my gc key, right?

But Info sharing does NOT apply to all applicants. Am I right?? I have never been to Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States or even applied for a visa there.. What about you @dactoan.nguyen Anyways my info sharing is completed as per the agent.

In short, what I heard from my calls to IRCC for the last two months was - "All your stages other than security has been completed and passed. Security is still not initiated"

@dactoan.nguyen I am gonna call them only after you have any updates on your application. It seems like we both are on the same pace. I wish/hope as we receive our PR before June at least so that it wont be an year of my submission. Can you believe as it will be 1 year after 3-3.5 months !!
My inforsharing is completed by agent and GCMS note. I just got it as below which was generated on Jan 20th
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: In Progress
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

Analyst: Recommendation: Recommend Pass A11.2: Appears Met R87.1: CEC minimum requirements - Appears Met Ready to Finalize RPRF: Complete.

Review type: Application #xxxxxxx Regulation: CEC I have reviewed this application based upon the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file and note the following. MIN. SCORE: 440 CRS SCORE: 440 Principle Applicant Application Promoted: Existing UCI Spouse Application Promoted: Existing....---Languages .... --- Education ...--- Police Certificate ...: Provide-NRT R10 OK Recommendation: Pass Criminality

@legalfalcon and @caipsnotes , do I have to worry anything or do I have to take a look on any important part? It is 474 pages, no idea which one is important.

The Criminality is passed by an agent on Jan 27

Hi

I got an email from IRCC under my wife name asking to resubmit IMM5669 Schedule A application bearing original signature which shows not to leave any gaps.

Is it to my wife ? Or for me ?

If it is my wife then Do I need to print it and handwritten signed by my wife and submit it ? Or Electronic signature ?

Thanks in advance
