Medical conditions - Citizenship application

Hi Friends,

Does CIC take medical conditions in consideration while processing the citizenship application?

There was no medical condition when permanent residency application was approved. I am under diagnosis for cancer, this was not there when I got my PR and I am hoping everything is fine, but still checking if in case something happen, will it impact my citizenship application?

I am sorry to hear about your health condition. I wish you recover soon! Regarding your question, a health/medical condition should not prevent you from becoming citizen.

I was actually doing some research and found this link under what conditions I can loose a PR status

Under inadmissibility - there was a section

Is this something I should be worried about?

Is this something I should be worried about?

I don't believe this pertains to citizenship. You were totally fine when applying for a PR, anything else that sadly happened after is not called out to in the links.

Those conditions are related to PR, you already have PR status so do not worry!

Those conditions are related to PR, you already have PR status so do not worry!
