Can I apply more than one way?

My husband and I applied to immigrate via the self-employed route. I think the only other way we might be able to apply would be the Federal Skilled worker program via EE. Though we may not have enough points (66; minimum is 67) and less than 400 for CRS. Are we allowed to apply a 2nd way if we’ve already applied another way? And is there any point to creating an EE profile if points are not quite high enough? Any other way to apply? We are NOC 5133 self-employed.

Yes, you can apply through EE.

You must have at least 67 FSW points to qualify. Otherwise you are ineligible and you won't be able to successfully create a profile.

Assuming you have at least 67 FSW points, you need to have a CRS score of around 470 to be selected.

Thanks. So I guess there’s no point in even trying to apply that way (points are too low). I guess self-employed is the only way for us unfortunately. The acceptance rate for those is really low (only about 1000, for all business immigration).

Yes - I think self-employed is your only option.

I don't see any of the PNP programs being an option since your occupation isn't in-demand or on any provincial lists.

Express Entry will only be an option if you can significantly increase your points.
