Forms submission for Canada spousal visa

Has anyone recently submitted spousal PR Application (during COVID scenario). I am from India and my spouse is a PR holder in Canada. Want to understand whether the application needs to be submitted in Canada or India.

It must be submitted in Canada if spouse is a PR. The pr must reside in Canada throughout the sponsorship process.

The forms to be printed in colour or black and white? Also, only Xerox copies of the supportings to be attached, right?

Apart from the spousal PR application, is there any other way to be able to visit Canada while the PR application is in process?

Is tourist visa an option currently?

Colour or black and white does not matter. Generally photocopies if original documents in English or French, certified copies + translation + statement from translator if not. But you MUST check the country-specific requirements for foreign documents, some countries have additional or specific requirements.

Tourist visa generally only other option. Some have tried student visa but of course the study plan must make sense or can also be refused.

If you mean double-sided, as far as I'm aware, yes. But check the instrucitons if concerned.
