Is the practicum part of the program? Do you need the practicum to graduate / complete the program? If so, program is greater than six months and you need a study permit.
Due to Covid, even programs under 6 months require a study permit.

No. If you’re already in Canada, you don’t need a study permit for a course or study program that lasts 6 months or less. You must get a study permit if you want to study for longer than 6 months.

Ok but is your program less than 6 months including practicum (if it is part of the program for completion).
