Hello Everyone, happy new year.

I was just wondering has anyone able to link their app to their account? I have had no success, also wondering if i am doing it right.
My wife's visitor status ends in a few days, thinking if I should renew it. Just scared that the app gets return for any stupid reason.
Also I have read about this spreadsheet, but I don't know where to find it.

Hello, same question here. Has anyone been able to link the OWP application to their accounts? I am using the Prospective Application number to do this. If someone can explain step by step how can we do it, that will be great,

Thank you

So I decided to extend the visitor stay of my wife just in case. When applying online they updated her application on GCkey account right away with a UCI number, previously she did not have one. Can I use this to link her PR app? Or will it not work because we didn't put a uci on the pr app?

Just wanted to have a extra way to try to link the app as I have had zero success so far.

Hi, I have submitted my Spouses's inland application earlier, but did not submit OWP, since it was valid till July 2021, now it looks we won't get AOR until then, So I want to submit OWP now. Does anyone has experience doing that? Can it be done online? or it has to be paper based?

I think February is our month of OWPs if the pace goes where it's been, though June looks like it's had a stall in approvals for a couple weeks. But it's nice to see that May is getting their AORs sent out, perhaps March will be when we get ours.

I watch the tracker almost 5 times a day and I can say with what I am seeing is that we will be getting our work permits by February and most likely our AOR's by March according to the rhythm of how everyone else is receiving their stuff from the previous months. I am no expert but it is a nice sign to see a lot of people getting responses the months before us. What I really hope is for us to get a COPR on time and not have that completely delayed but time will tell.
Good luck everyone.

They seem to fly through a good number of applications after they issue full AOR but COPR will most likely be delayed by a few months sadly..

Really paranoid around this time... I think they're either done or currently done checking our applications for completeness. I'm looking at the excel sheet and two late July applicants had gotten their applications sent back to them in December... I hope we're in the clear.

Yes i think it is about time they are doing July apps now, is very nerve wrecking checking the mail everyday. Hopefully everything is in the app or we get a more understanding person doing our app and not return over smaller issues. good luck to you all.

implied status to remain in canada will take place if the application is entered in the immigration system before the visitor lose the status, if you are unsure that you application is on the system or not call canada immigration and ask they should be able to tell you, if is already in the system then you are ok, otherwise is highly recommended you extend your stay as visitor.
You keep repeating that application “must” be entirely entered into IRCC system for applicants to benefit from implied status. NO! you are wrong! IRCC has “locked in date” which simply means if an application arrives via mail, the date signed for by IRCC is valid to start implied status.

if an application is made online, same thing applies, IRCC used the exact date and time as locked in date, for that application.

Go back to your teacher or do more research via the GCMS of that applicant, stop spreading untrue information here!

Hey guys, I can confirm from the August Inland 2020's WhatsApp chat that they've started looking at August applications. A mid-august applicant called the IRCC today to check on the status of their application. They were told that it was returned to them by mail. They were also able to confirm the exact date that the application was sent from the IRCC's office (a few days ago).

If you want to check/confirm the status of your application, call them and use the navigate the phone line menu through "check application status" > "PR application". Select option "F" and follow the instructions. After it gives you your application info (e.g. when the application was received by IRCC), you can get the option to press 0 to speak with an agent.
