Corp to corp Job

I have a closed work permit with an employer in Alberta. I have a hope of securing a job in IT in toronto area but with different company .. is corp to corp an option in this condition so that i could stay with my employer ?

I don't understand what you mean by "corp to corp". Your work permit is a closed work permit which only allows you to work for your current employer. If you want to work for a different employer, that employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA and you need to obtain a new closed work permit.

its very common in usa .. where u r employed with one employer but there is another vendor between your employer and client ( like any bank ) .. when there are multiple layers between your employer and end client, ut is called corp to corp .. paycheck would still be run by your employer only.

Not possible on your closed work permit. You need an LMIA from the new employer and a new work permit.
