Hello everyone.

I hope you are all doing well.

I could read from here that while sponsoring one's spouse its always good to show that the sponsor is earning an income here rather than showing certain amount in the account. Well, my query is I came to canada in July 2020 but I started working only from November.

I have documents such as employer's letter and my paystubs but I dont have the CRA assessment. And its one documents asked to be attached with the application if the sponsor is working.

Can anyone please help me as in what can be done in such situation where I cannot provide any documents on CRA?

Thank you in advance. Take care

You are not required to be working in order to sponsor your spouse but it is a definite asset, their concern is that you are able to support the spouse by whatever means, only stipulation is that you can't be collecting social assistance aka welfare. You won't have a NOA until you file taxes for 2020.
