Hey guys , i have a query.

Suppose , if I'm living in some other country say UAE for 2 years and working there but my home country is india. In that case , can i apply for study visa under SDS category directly from UAE or if not possible , then by coming back to my home country after quitting job. By then , there will be 3 years gap in my studies ( 2 year job+ 6-7 months job in india n rest time spent at home due to covid)

3 year Graduation done already from india itself.

Also , for funds , can i attach my siblings income if they're also working in UAE along as the ITR of my father's income in india won't be considered enough to show sufficient funds.

You must be a resident to apply for SDS. You are not a resident of India. So if you quit your job in the UAE and move back to India and show residency, you can apply.

I mean for tax purposes I think he still will be considered as a resident by Indian tax department but I’m not sure if you count as one or not. Maybe ask an agent about your profile

Ok you know better than I do but you have to show you are a legal resident. Legal resident is not the same as a tax resident but you seems sure. All the best.

I researched a little bit but unfortunately you come under the category of NRI so you are not eligible for sds. Even if you come back to India that won’t make you a resident either as you have to stay in India for a specified period of time.

And for funds , does they count only parents income or our real brother ,sister also. N if i show my own savings saying that i have made enough savings in the time period of my 2 years job, will that work?

You need to show a minimum of $10,000 Cdn and pay the first year tuition. You can count parents’ income especially if you are an Independant. You can show siblings income but if you are in your mid 20s and have a job, you really should show your own funds.
