Hi,

Posting this for a friend. My friend reached out for advise not sure how to respond may be experienced members can help. He is PR and recently filed for Citizenship application. He was on study permit/PGWP and applied for Citizenship after 2 years so study permit/PGWP period is counted. On the past 5 years employment history he mentioned the job that he had done during study permit period. However, same was not disclosed on the previous applications(renewal etc.) or on PR application as those were filed thru consultant. Will this have any implication on his PR/ citizenship application. His citizenship application is in process.

Time will tell. Even if filed through a consultant you're responsible for providing the right information. Not sure what he can do about it now

As long as he was authorised to work during his study permit and didn't violate the terms of his study permit, i would think he would be okay.

It is technically an omission but at this stage, it may not be serious enough to cause any issues with getting his citizenship.
