AOR 12/12. No updates yet, or atleast thats what I think! Cos as soon as I login and click continue, it logs out automatically and kicks me back to the English/French language page of CIC.

Is anyone else facing this issue? Been like this the whole week for me. I was able to get inside only once.

Is this a concern that warrants a web form?
This seems to be mostly browser issue. Sometime it happens when network/server does not respond. It happens with me many times. But it gets resolved when try with different browser or after some time.
But it does not have any relation with update in application.

Not an issue related to the applicant, it happened to me before however during their weekend Sat & Sun it goes so smooth.

I've a doubt regarding job references letter. I was hired through agency for an financial institution client and contract was for Oct 2019 to December 2020. So, I've got 1 letter from agency for employment without job duties and 1 letter from my manager on company stationary listing the job duties. After contract termination i've been hired as permanent employee with same financial institution but different team and I got employment letter from HR salary etc but without duties. Should this be ok?

I am also an applicant but from what I understand, letters need to clearly state job duties (basically copy them from the job description on IRCC website).

Thank you for taking time to respond and all the best

You cannot copy the JDs. The JDs in your work reference letter should substantially match the JDs in your selected NOC. However, blindly copying them would be a big issue.

As per IRCC:

The applicant must have accumulated at least one year of continuous full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) paid work experience in the occupation identified in their application for permanent residence as their primary occupation. In calculating this period of work experience, the occupation must be listed in skill type 0 (Managerial occupations), skill level A (Professional occupations) or skill level B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2016 [R75(2)(a)].

The applicant’s skilled work experience must also

  • have occurred within the ten years preceding the date of their application for permanent residence; and
  • not be in an occupation that has been designated as a restricted occupation.
Note: At the time of publication, no occupations were designated as restricted.

In addition, during that period of employment, the applicant must have

  • performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(b)]; and
  • performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all of the essential duties, of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC [R75(2)(c)].
Note: The applicant does not need to demonstrate that they meet the “employment requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description.

Hi everyone,
I need your help regarding one concern. Me and my wife both are indian citizens. I live here in Canada and my wife is in india. Last year we both went to Australia for our destination wedding. But due to covid we never get chance to register our marriage in india. But we do have Australian marriage certificate and we submitted that one with our file.
My question is, can IRCC can raise this concern that why we are not register in our own country.

Regard

I doubt it would be an issue .
CIC even accepts a piece of paper signed by both of you stating that you are common in law of course with some other proofs.
I think its good.
