Not sure why your representative would ask you to send separate email when the email from IRCC clearly asks you to reply to the email from IRCC. I would suggest just reply to the email you received and provide the details. It shouldn't matter. Again the new process has been rolled out just 2 months ago and I would say not fully adopted.

If you are more than one member, provide all details in one single email. Use unique email ids for all members.

I replied something like this to the email i received from IRCC and received the portal details within 5 working days I would say (excluding holidays).
1) Principal Applicant
Name: ABC, UCI:1234567890, email: XXXXX@gmail.com, Last Time entered in Canada: XXth XXX 2020, Port of Entry: Toronto
2) Spouse
Name : ABC, UCI:1234567890,email: XXX@gmail.com, Last Time entered in Canada: XXth September 2018, Port of Entry: Toronto
3) Dependent Son 1
Name : ABC,UCI:1234567890,email: XXX@gmail.com,Last Time entered in Canada: XXth September 2018,Port of Entry: Toronto
4) Dependent Son 2
Name : ABC,UCI:1234567890,email: XXX@gmail.com,Last Time entered in Canada: XXth September 2018,Port of Entry: Toronto
Thanks for reply. But the thing is my representative got the email because it was his email on my application. So should I just tell him to reply?

Pasting portion of the email i received from IRCC. Its you who has to provide these details as per the IRCC email... Read the points from the email. It says the representatives to forward the email to clients. So ask him to forward the email to you and you reply. This is how I would have done if I were to respond. See the wording clearly say ...<You must Click to Reply>>> and its highlighted as well. So why not to stick to what email says...

Again I fell it shouldn't really matter who responds. Just send these details to IRCC and follow instructions what they have asked us to do.

Congrats any ways. You are weeks away from receiving your PR .

...........
Important notes:

· Clients will have to access the portal themselves. If you’re a representative, please forward this email to the clients you represented for their PR application until they were approved.

IRCC will keep improving on this tool, but for now the portal only allows one profile per person. Regardless of their age, each member of your family (i.e. including your dependants) must have their own profile.
  • You and every dependant included in your application will need their own unique email address (e.g. gmail, hotmail, etc.) for us to create an account in the PR Confirmation Portal.
Let us know:

You must inform us right away via the IRCC webform of any of these changes:
· marriage or common-law union, divorce, annulment, legal separation
· death of
o the sponsor
o the principal applicant or
o any accompanying family member
· birth or adoption of a child, including grandchildren born to dependent children
· you (the principal applicant) or any of your family members have been charged or convicted of a criminal offence

What you need to do next:
Reply(you must click on reply) to this email (XXX@cic.gc.ca) and give us your personal email address and email addresses for every dependant included in your application. Please use this format, one client per line: Names, UCI, email, date of last time entered in Canada and the location(Port of Entry) - verify your passport for the date and location.

If you can’t access online tools such as the portal due to accessibility issues or special needs, contact us by replying(you must click on reply) to this message: XXX@cic.gc.ca.

You and every dependant included in your application need to be physically residing in Canada in order to use the portal. If you or one of your dependant currently live outside Canada, contact us by replying(you must click on reply) to this message: XXX@cic.gc.ca.

Hi guys! Can they refuse you the PR after sending you the credentials for the portal?
Once we approve your application, we’ll

  • send you an invitation to confirm
    • if you want to use the portal
    • your email address
    • all email addresses for each person on your application
  • create an account for you (you can’t create one yourself)
  • send another email, after you confirm the above, with a link to the portal and instructions on how to sign in with your username and a temporary password

Yes. IRCC needs to review the photos and address first, then issue COPR.

there is no relation of the two portals. Looks like they are totally separate.
