Study gap is not really matters; if we can prove that we are genuine student.
I have a study gap of 10 years. Got my bachelors in 2010 and applied for Graduate Certificate 2021 Jan intake.
Got the SP approval and PPR today at the age of 34. :)

1st Application- 10th July 2019
Refusal - 25th Aug 2019

January 2020 intake
Applied online - Canada
2nd Application- 21st Nov 2019
Refusal - 20th Dec 2019

May 2020 intake
Applied online- India
3rd Application- 29th Feb 2020
Refusal - 12 March 2020

September 2020 intake
Applied Online - India
4th Application- 18th March 2020
AIP - 17th August 2020 - Edmonton
GCMS received - 21st October 2020
BVL - 30th October 2020 - CPC Ottawa
OPR - 4th November 2020
Passport submitted VFS Dubai- 8th Nov 2020
Visa stamped passport received - 18th Nov 2020

Yes Approved Finally :)

But Deferred to Jan 2021 intake - Offer Letter received after visa approval
