Hello,

I am the primary applicant and my wife is sponsor. Currently I am jobless, but interviewing with a company. Everything is looking positive. Hoping to get the job offer soon. My PR application is ready to submit. I included the job as my current employment though the job is not confirm yet. If I submit the PR application and later if I don’t get the job offer then, do I have to face any issue?

I dont know why you would put it in if you don't actually have it yet. Even if its looking good, you don't have the job yet

I am optimistic actually. Hopping to get the offer soon. Also I don't want to wait to submit my PR application.

I would suggest you either wait until you have the job or remove it from the app. It doesn't matter if you are employed or not for a spousal application. It could be considered as misrepresentation which can have serious consequences.

There is no requirement for the applicant to have a job. I think it's more important to correctly describe your current employment history (what hasn't happened yet is NOT history).
Correct your form and send in your application. The sooner you send in, the sooner you will get an OWP (in case your current work permit will expire this year). Who knows how long this will take.

But you haven't started it? Or are you starting it tomorrow? You can't put it in the history until you start working there!
So if you want to wait till you start the job for the job history to be correct, also make sure your signed date is after that as well.
You dated your signature when information you put down is already fact.

Got your point. Thank you very much.
