Hey lucky guys ! Could you let us know the first letter of yours family names ? It seems that the chosen ones from today were B,F,K (from the Facebook group). I only want to see if it true or not..

Our family name starts with P. So I dont think that has any bearing on how the spots are picked randomly.

Rather unfortunate that are people who applied for PGP thinking they have the income without actually verifying it. That is like bidding on a house before you getting a bank mortgage pre-approval. They end up bidding on house more than the bank will approve the amount and end up losing the bid on the house.

The difference though is that it means someone else wasn't able to big on the house because of their negligence.

But seems like this is what the people prefer.

I read this on the Reddit
And it pretty well sums up 2020, and for some individuals applying for the PGP

There are a number of things that have become crystal clear during the past 10 months or so.
1: There are a lot of really stupid people in this world, like mind numbingly stupid;
2: That there a lot of incredibly self centered and selfish people in the world; and
3: That politicians everywhere seem to think that they are special, and that rules for others do not apply to them.

At least the house would be put back on the market. Hard to do that with PGP spots taken by unqualified sponsors.

I honestly dont know how they will ensure 10,000 spots are filled by qualified sponsors when some are taken by unqualified sponsors.

Actually the "house" is put back on the market! There are supplementary draws in the same year.

But it is not a bid system. It is lottery!

remember: giving out 10000 PRs correctly is not a responsibility for IRCC, it is a GIFT from IRCC, we take it or not.

Actually it more than 10000 PRs, close to double or more, most are 2 parents , some with dependents. Each spot can mean 2 PRs or more.
