Have you ever contacted oinp? Send an email to oinp right away to find out what happened. Don't panic and happy new year!
No, I haven't. I've applied through the lawyer (kind of had to). So, asked him in mid-December if he knows smth, he said no information yet, everything is slowly now. Will ask him again.
Thanks.

Is anyone here from the August submission? Any updates?
Thanks in advance.
Yes I submitted early August and have been nominated and received my WP and have submitted PR packet. Sounds like your app fell through the cracks or a communication has been missed somewhere.

My wife applied through a different stream in September and has been in ADR for 3 weeks, despite the company sending the information one day after it was requested.
Timeline says 60-90 but for her is already more than that. I guess we just have to keep waiting...
The way things are moving right now, it will be better for us to apply through express entry in one year after I get a year of canadian experience...

EE is by far a lot easier and quicker if you're able to get the points through that, but in my case I wasn't able to get a strong enough score to be invited. You also lose points as you get older too so it can be tougher for people beyond 30.

It is true and I understand your point entirely.
We moved to Canada 1 year ago, both 33 years. I just finished school and started working, but in our math we could be getting around 475 points in January 2022 (I have a masters and CLB 10) and adding the 6+ months of express entry process, the PR process would be finished maybe by July 2022.

Last september my wife applied through "in demand" stream after 1 year of work experience in a job she doesn't really like, but we just thought it would be quick enough, and as you know, "a bird in hand is worth two in the bush". Unfortunately, the way things are going, we are just thinking if we should continue on this bumpy ride or not ... If we get the nomination this January, some people get their PR after 12 months, others have been waiting for 2 years. We are stuck in a pickle!

If you're close to 1 years experience (I believe you have to wait until you actually have 13 months experience) - you should get yourself into the pool when you have it so you can get an ITA. The score will likely only go up from here and 475 is close to the current trends of around 471. Bonus with this way is you can apply for a bridging open work permit and you're not tied to specific employer while your PR app processes. Not to mention EE process is cheaper.

Paper streams for PNP are going to stuffed for a while - people who submitted PR packets in April/May 2020 are only starting to get AoR now. Could be 24 months processing time at this rate. I wish I was able to do EE, as I'd be PR by now as I have 2 years work experience but I only have my younger self to blame.

Hi all,
Just went again through my emails, forgot to mention that I've been asked to provide additional information on September 11th. Maybe this is the reason why it takes so long for me.

Does anyone else face the same situation?
Thank you

@phanikiran.kara Hii, can you please tell me when did you apply for work permit? And within how many days/months you received ur WP? It will be very helpful... thank you.
@Mapleleaves21forever - Depends on where you are applying from. From your flag, I am guessing your current location as India in which case, minimum of 3 months is what I have seen, Applying from USA, it takes about a month now.

I applied end of Feb and got it approved in about June (applied and approved in USA) strictly because of 0% progress due to Covid. All that changed now and things have speeded up a bit.
