Hi,

I just filed the application and mention all the jobs i have done in 5 year period. I was a student earlier and then moved to PR Status. Do they check all the details for these jobs. I made some mistakes on the dates.

They do make checks on the reported information.

I am not sure how detailed they are. If you are off by a couple of days/weeks, it might not matter. If you are off by a couple of years, then it could be a problem.

Thanks ... I am off by 4 months . Do they call the employer

Once you get your AOR, you can contact them via webform to correct the wrong information and get some peace of mind.

Thanks ... do you know if they check work hours or other details

Dunno...
Why would you care to know anyway?
If you worked 20h or 60h a week somewhere, both would indicate that you were in Canada in the first place, and that'swhat IRCC wants to know.
The work history is NOT considered for IRCC's decision in your application, it's purpose is simply to strengthen your physical presence claims. Nothing more.
Just make sure your work history is accurate and don't worry about it.

As mentioned correct the information through webform once you get AOR.

They do check employment for PR. I don't know how much in detail they do for citizenship but what matters here is that you were present in Canada rather than the work you're doing.
