I got my PR approval on November 6th 2020 and sent the photo on November 9th, 2020. Vancouver ircc received my photo on November 10th. Yesterday, I called ircc to see how my pr card processing is going and they told me that the production department will be ready to send my pr card soon. I am still waiting.
I had the same timeline but I ended sending mine by Canada Post and it's showing not delivered when I enter the tracking #. They made mention it's at the receivers mailroom.

DId you have any luck wi8th webform ? My COPR did not have a City/town of birth" so am unable to link
Same here. My CoPR does not mention the place of birth. I have raised the webform yesterday.

But I guess if things proceed well then the PR card might arrive even before the webform response is provided to me.

To get your place of birth, refer the EE or PR application submitted. The field is case sensitive. Make sure you copy as is.

Tried that as well. No success with what was mentioned while making the application or in GCMS notes.

Now planning to prepare an excel sheet with various combinations and try 5 times per day to see which one is finally accepted. It will be a lengthy process but worth the try.

Hey @tapa.n if you don't see your POB on your COPR, that means they removed your POB from your file, which means you can't link your application online. I have the same problem and I verified with multiple IRCC agents. We're just out of luck there. Only way for you to check status of your app is to call IRCC. I just called again today and was told that my photo hasn't even been added to my file yet, meaning they haven't opened my mail which was delivered on Nov 5th. Not a good sign since it's already been over a month. I think Etobicoke just slowed down a crazy amount.

Hi,

My permanent residency application via the Canadian Experience Class was approved on June 2, 2020. I received an online COPR requesting sending my photo with the letter to the address listed in the letter (Edmonton). I mailed my photo along with the letter delivered on June 26, 2020. It's been 163 days and still, there's no update. The processing time was ~120 days when I mailed my photo. I also linked my PR card application to my online account and the status is "Submitted".

I used webform and received no reply. I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience and how I could expedite the process.

Thanks

Thank you for the information @madrilena. I had raised a webform for inquiry into status. Will call IRCC and check with them.

But looks like another delay and wait for finally completing the process.

SO I think its a mismatch between what we are entering and what's on file that will work. My family of 3 received 3 COPR documents. None had POB. I was able to link mine however after 4 attempts of different combinations of case sensitive answers. Still working through the remaining two. I like the idea of excel and keeping track of which combination worked. But looking at the processing time seems like 4 to 5 months.

P.S. was able to renew my health card based on COPR so not much of a problem this wait for inland applicants, as we have proof of PR and also as there is no way to travel anywhere safely

Thank you for the update @IG2020. I am hopeful that it should not take that long. Will keep trying.

Without the ability to link there is hardly any way to understand if the photo will be accepted. Also, the COPR is valid for a year. Though in the online account it says valid till april 2021.

I hope the PR card is processed and sent before that timeline.

Any updates @Sadia95 or anyone who have sent their applications to IRCC Etobicoke.

I have tried 32 combinations till date for linking the application online but without any success. Also they say 5 attempts but block after 4 attempts daily.

The worry is that their communication mechanism is slow. It eats away crucial time if the photo is not accepted.

This happened to me as well. I can link my spouse’s card but mine didn’t work.

did you try to fill the 'province name' instead of 'city name' in the 'place of birth'.
