Leaving canada after applying for PR

Hello all , hope you are doing well

i am a permanent resident, would like to sponser my spouse for the same. But i came across the first hurdle fairly quicky

1. i could not decide which class to apply in family or spousal. She lives in canada , with me now, has a valid work permit upto sep 2022, currently working and valid temporary visa for the same amount of time.

2.i read at many places that once applied for pr one cannot / should not leave canada for extended period.She wanted to go to india for 1-2 months. Now is this true in our case, could she be revoked entry on return.

3. Once she went to india does her TR visa or work permit becomes invalid or expires? Need to apply again ?

Easy solution is to apply after she returns to Canada.

Her TRV and work permit will be valid. But if you're applying for her PR under inland spousal category then she should not leave Canada. So it's better option let's she go and come back, then you apply for PR.
