Hello Everyone,

After Multiple follow up on the RTT web forms, just now i got an update in my online account requesting Re-medical for my wife alone. I received 2 letter .
one is Information letter where it states Remedeical required for my wife. and another one is the IMM1017E where the panel physical has to fill the info and sign and submit electronically i guess.
My entire application status is not changed from "Approved" to "Action Required". Not only that all the below informations were updated as if i submitted application just now; Previosuly everything was updated stating BGV was completed, FInal Decision made something like that..

I am living in Canada and dint land yet. and my family in india.. COPR expired. sent RTT for since september.

IRCC sent an email that they have extended my parents medicals till Feb 26, 2021. The COPR was initially issued on March 15, 2020.
IRCC also says that "the medical exam validity may not be extended further without re-doing all immigration medical exam(s) and covering the cost for them" if they decide to travel after Feb 26, 2021.
my parents have decided not to travel due to COVID and also they have some personal issues to take care of.
Should I just ignore the email as it said "Please respond to this email ONLY if you are sure that you could travel to Canada soon"?
Anyone else received the same email?

Hey Folks,

Checked my profile just now,

Current status used to be "Submitted" with counterfoil numbers vanished and background check, Final decision in progress, medicals passed on 24-Nov-2020.

Primary VO: CPC-Ottawa

Ghost Update (GU):

Final decision: 15-Dec-2020, Approved.

Counterfoils: I can see both old and new counterfoil details now.

Old ones expired on 07-May-2020
New ones valid up until 18-Nov-2021.

Some of my favorite quotes to lift your spirits:

"WHEN THE WORLD SAYS "GIVE UP", HOPE WHISPERS,
"TRY IT ONE MORE TIME".

SOMETIMES YOU "WIN",
SOMETIMES YOU "LEARN".

Awaiting AL/PPR,,, Will keep you updated,,,

I'm in the same situation with the expiry date of medical is Jan 31, 2021. Just received the email from IRCC yesterday asking me to travel before this date.

I'm wondering if it's possible to re-do the medical by myself and to not travel before Jan 31.
Had anyone done this before ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hopefully someone senior in the group is going to advise next step. I am just worried that what if IRCC does not ask to re-do medicals again!!!
