Dear @legalfalcon ,

I submitted my PR application on Jan 2020 and due to COVID there is no definite timeline when I'll be getting the confirmation. My wife (dependent) is 5 weeks pregnant and tentative due date is last week of July 2021. What is the best way to go ahead in this situation? Do we need to inform IRCC about it or be optimistic that confirmation would come soon? Even if I get the confirmation soon, due to travel restrictions I feel it would be difficult at this time to land in Canada before birth.

Could you please advise me on this situation? Thanks, in advance.

Type: FSW-Outward (India)
PNP - OINP
AOR: Jan 2020
Medical passed: Feb 2020
Biometric: Feb 2020
GCMS notes: Not ordered

If your family composition changes, you have to inform IRCC and your new born has to be added to your application. You can add a new born even if your application has approved, and if you have not landed.

All family members will be subject to criminal, medical and security admissibility. However, children under 10 are not subject to criminality or security.

Only after your baby is born, you can inform IRCC and IRCC will send you the forms and the list of documents required.

Thank you so much @legalfalcon. If I receive CoPR at later stage of the pregnancy when travel is not allowed, does IRCC give extension to CoPR validity till baby is born and until the baby's application is processed?

The extensions are given on a case by case basis. However, if you have not landed and your family composition changes because of child birth, you will have to add the child to the application and submit the required documents.

Hi @legalfalcon , Can you please help me with this?

Received the GCMS notes last week. Ordered on 10th Oct. But seems, the GCMS notes were generated on 20th Oct.

I could see something called "PRBIO". Can you please explain what it is? And is it why my file is not moving?

@legalfalcon , can you please throw some light on this? I'm biometrics exempted and it got updated on the profile on Oct 14th. As per the GCMS, everything passed, except for criminality (in progress). Info Sharing - Complete.

Thank you!

As i have already spent two year in manitoba on my work permit and now i am PR montj ago . Can i move?

Hello!
My friend is in a possession of a COPR now.
---
Question: His real brother is a Canadian citizen and considered as an immediate family member and settled in Ontario.

My friend's PR is based on Saskatchewan immigration nominee program ( SINP) ..i.e. Provincial Nomination

Can he travel based on this?

Or what if his brother tavel to Saskatchewan before him and he travel once his brother reaches Saskatchewan?

@legalfalcon during info sharing is work history shared, If the person didn't work in any of the 5 countries

Info sharing does not deal with work history, only crime, human rights issues and terrorism are what is sought so that IRCC can make a decision on your application.

see https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/resources/manuals/in/in01-eng.pdf

Each country and organisation has its own agreement or MOU, which will ascertain what is shared.

If you received PR with a nomination from Manitoba, you signed your application stating you have an intent to live and settle in Manitoba. So you will have to stay there unless there is a compelling reason not to.
