Hi, can anyone help me with the following information please?! I am a permanent resident and I am 5 months pregnant with my second child. Since i will most probably undergo a C section I wanted to know that if I get a letter from my doctor stating my course of treatment and mentioning about the c section and how I would need emotional support after the baby arrives (which honestly i would need tons of specially during Corona times) How effective will that letter be along with my invitation letter?!

I agree there's no guarantee whatsoever. But how effective could it be?! Or should I not attach one all together?!
Yep. I'm aware. Hence the delay. I had given up on the whole idea a month ago. Though I'm willing to give it a try now. If anything, even after my delivery, (if their visa doesn't get rejected) they would atleast have a visit visa on their passports to visit me.
Pretty pointless to attach a letter from your doctor unless you are a single with no friends and family in Canada and the doctor confirms that you will need help for your medical needs once discharged.
People assume that a doctor's note carries a lot of weight. When it says you need emotional support because you're having a baby that isn't really a medical issue. You can certainly mention that you would like to have your parents with you in Canada to help with the transition from 1 to 2 children but there's no need for a doctor's note. Save yourself the money you'll be asked to pay for the letter.
