Citizenship certificate delay delivery after virtual ceremony

Hi,

I had my Oath ceremony SEP 25th 2020 and my Ecas changed to complete the next day. After 21 days I still did not receive my certificate, yesterday I called IRCC and the agent told me that the certificate was sent to me OCT 1st which i didn't receive yet.

I created this Thread to get information about this matter.

I still haven't received my certificate. Called again IRCC and they confirmed it was mailed on Oct 2nd.

Curious as to anyone else who got their certificate after a virtual oath ceremony. How long did it take to get in the mail? Thanks!

My virtual oath was 4th Sep. Got certificate on 18th sep.

even if there is delay in certificate, you are already a citizen. Though you can’t apply for passport without it. May be you can ask your citizen certificate number just for your reference.

It seems no one has received certificate in November. Even the folks whose oath ceremony happened in October are still awaiting for their citizenship certificate.

yeah man i wont understand what took so long to just print it and send it . even its a long queue at least some people should receive it. but i also didnt see anyone receive certificate in november

It will change to Complete once certificate is mailed. It will be there in mailbox in next few days.

Yes. Completed day matched with postal stamp date.

It comes in regular mail, so there will not be a tracking number. May be you can call IRCC and confirm.

my office is Winnipeg they say 6 to 8 weeks after oath . my status change to Complete after exactly 4 weeks and now i am in watiting to receive my cert and today 5 weeks complete altogehter after oath ceremony
