Oh interesting, thanks.
So i've called that number as well and they said my application is currently going through "eligibility check" and it's on "background check".

They've also said they don't need my Biometrics nor my Medical Check - Which is confusing, i know i don't need Bio due to giving them previously for WP, but i never did an Medical Exam nor did my dependants ( except wife giving birth here not long ago. ), so why would they say i don't need to do a Medical Check, anyone knows? ( Does that essentially mean "wait until we send you a Medical Request"? )
Maybe your medical result before the WP is still valid. Or due to the Covid19, there is an extension for the medical result before.
Did your dependent give their BIO before?

You don’t need biometrics if you previously done is last 10 years. For the medical it will stay like that . When they request medical exam it will change to- we requested for medical exam. After that when you do medical exam it will change to - You passed medical examination.
Got it, thanks, that's what i thought.
Will push for upfront to my lawyers, looks like people with AOR in January still haven't gotten MR, ridiculous

What is your timeline? Lawyers are never in favour of upfront medical. You can do yourself anytime and submit it through webform to cic . In 1 month you will pass medical exam.

Obviously they are lazy . They don’t care about anyone. You should goto panel clinic and do upfront medical and submit through webform to cic . It will decrease your processing time and also make be you will get decision made soon . There is no harm in upfront medical. 0% harm.

You just need passport for upfront medical. Just visit any panel or physician approved by cic and book appointment with them . Let them know you are doing upfront medical. When they do medical they will give at medical E-sheet at the end which you will upload through webform to cic and doctor will send your results to cic automatically.
