I keep telling my best friend I don’t mind ending up in Yukon with my day job living comfortably without the need to amass wealth and she thinks I am mental when I can live in Ontario with her and other friends.
For my NOC , I can honestly fit in anywhere and I don’t mind.

Okay maybe Yukon sounds extreme thinking about it now but somewhere that isn’t a big city and a better weather, I don’t mind.

We were certain we were going to end up in Nova Scotia, so did a lot of research on it. Sounds like a pretty amazing place to be.

I've said this before, but i wish provinces provided incentives to people who became PRs to move there.

A lot of us would not have any major preferences, and if we received a package of incentives to move to a particular province, i'm sure several people would take it and settle there.

IRCC announced an initiative for a potential open work permit for Hong Kong youth who graduated with a post secondary degree within the last five year. Does anyone have any insight of what the age range, by definition, might be?

This is exactly why Canada is putting more emphasis on “rural” immigration pilot programs. So that you don’t get a situation where everyone ends up in Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver or Montreal.
The requirements are to rigid and that makes it unappealing. Nobody really wants to start looking for a job offer for those rural immigration programs when they can easily get picked by Ontario or Saskatchewan without one. If they do away with those stiff rules, maybe people that can't get a direct ITA will consider them. For many, the goal is to arrive in Canada, they don't care where they start from and the truth of the matter is that the more people are settling in those places the better for the economy at large. If you know you've got to stay in a particular place for about two years, you will be forced to create your own opportunities there. It's either you do that or step up your game to be picked directly from the pool.

Oh yeah? Lovely. There’s a place that I found really interesting and that’s because of a Netflix show I watched.

Prince Edward Island and the TV series is Ann with an E. I have always wondered what it is over there, looks like a small province though.

well, this is what it says;
“ This new pathway will be available in 2021, and criteria will include minimum language and education levels and 1 year of work experience in Canada.”

I wasn’t informed about the job offer part
I think I saw that when I tried Australia's calculator a while ago. The only other one I found (other than Canada's) that I could get enough points to get into without a job offer was NZ.

If the next draw the score come down to 475, you would have a great chance in early 2021. We have to see whats the next cut off or 2, its too hard to tell now. Im at 473 too brother
