Hi guys,
Need Profile Evaluation for Master's Program in Computer Science (Course-based) for Fall 2021
BTech CSE 7.57/10
IELTS 6.5 (No less than 6)
1-year experience in Tata Consultancy Services as Software Developer
2 months of internship as Python developer
A good resume and a nice SOP
Can someone please tell me the chances of getting an admission letter from Carleton University for Masters in Computer Science (Course-based)? Any help would be very helpful. Thank you.

Computer Science programs are quite competitive, you will need a really strong SOP and reference letters.

I don't know about the exact chances as I am also applying to universities for electrical engineering. Others might be of more help in that aspect.

I would consider Carleton as a good mid-tier university. You do have a pretty decent profile to get into their course based program, but you would need strong LORs as rightly mentioned by @lolcocks . I would try to get one from from the university and other one from current employer/manager.

You would definitely need good SOP, and must highlight your academic/scholastic achievements and extracurricular activities in your application. You may also make an online portfolio showcasing your coding projects which you can include in your application. Trust me the academic unit who will review your file would be impressed by such efforts.

MEng in Comp. Sci. is very competitive in Carleton Uni. I don't wish to discourage you. But, with your BTech 75% and IELTS 6.5, I am skeptic your profile will make through. Try Dalhousie with this profile.

Thank you @lolcocks @sam.devilz19 @jasz_blr for your response. What can be my chances in universities like the University of Victoria (Msc. Computer Science), Simon Fraser University (Big Data), Concordia University, and the University of Manitoba?
SFU's Big Data program is one of the best in Canada. So I would look at it as pretty ambitious, but if you're into Big Data and have past projects/publications under Big Data/Data Science, you may still give it a shot. Though they also have a MSc in Computer Science, which isn't much competitive comparatively to their Big Data program yet more competitive than other three universities you've specified.

So for CS ranking wise it would be - Simon Fraser University > Carleton University > University of Victoria > University of Manitoba (Good chances)
