@legalfalcon I’m cec applicant March aor. My file was very pending because of outstanding biometric. I gave bio on 19 oct. and I did request gcms in mid of august, which showed eligibility is passed, security redacted, criminality in progress, medical passed, and info sharing is also in progress. I believe info sharing and criminality are interlinked to bio metrics some how but not sure though. Since It’s been almost 3 weeks now, I haven’t seen any progress in my application. Criminality is still in progress, I confirmed it by calling ircc call centre. I am just wonder why is criminality taking so long to be processed since i have provided pcc’s and rcmp pcc upfront. And I am also wondering what info sharing is. Thank you.

Hi Legalfalcon! Thanks a lot for your contribution on this forum. I was very confused about showing my loan and your post clarified that.

This is the situation I am in:
1. I am living in Canada for the past two years and just finished a degree that costed 120k + living expenses for two years. I have a 100k education loan back in India which is secured by a property I own in India (more than 100k) and my father is a co-applicant with his assets (much more than the loan amount).
2. I am employed in Canada for the past few months after completing my graduation and am easily paying my living expenses + Loan (even when emi liability didn't start yet). I will be able to do that for the coming years as long as I have a job.
3. I don't have a lot of cash in my accounts since I was paying off the loan without realizing that I will need PoF. I thought people employed in Canada don't but I learnt it the hard way a couple of weeks back.
4. All my documentation (medicals, PCC, business proofs, IELTS ) is complete. and I am thinking of getting a gift deed from my father to provide PoF.

I am thinking of getting 13000 + 12 months of EMI (which starts Feb next year) as gift deed from my father to show my PoF. Should that be enough?

You don't need to. And when you submit your application, you can write a LoE, and inform IRCC that you were never physically in UK.

However, IRCC may insist on a UK PCC later and will let you know.
Thanks a lot
So is it fine With the LOE, i show my transcripts that shows my country of residence address?
Or a certificate that says it a distant learning to support my letter?

The CBSA note and GCMS notes are the same. The only difference is that the security related info is usually not redacted in the CBSA notes. So when you request the CBSA notes, you can see when the security started, how many activities are there etc.
Thank you for the help

If you can get both. that would be even better, but either of them will work.

Lately IRCC has been experiencing a to of delays. Most likely its an administrative delay and no one has worked on your file.

Info-Sharing see https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/resources/manuals/in/in01-eng.pdf

If you have a job in Canada, so you would be applying as a CEC.

Who does not need proof of funds
You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if

  • you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
  • you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program
Keep your funds up to date in your profile. The system may find that you’re eligible for more than 1 program. You don’t always know ahead of time which program you’ll be invited under.

Hi @legal Falcon,
I got my Copr and Visa stamped this month. The whole immigration process was carried out with the help of an immigration agent. I have settled the dues of the agent as per the Terms and Conditions.

Now I want to know whether I can demand the accesses of my GC Key account from the immigration agent as it will help me in my future course of correspondences with IRCC. Don't you think it my right???

Your valuable suggestion will be highly appreciated.

No. Unlike individuals, licensed lawyers and consultants have a GCkey to manage multiple applications. An immigration lawyer may have thousands of client applications that may be in progress or may have been approved in his portal associated with the GCkey.

They cannot give you their GCKey.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/partners-service-providers/authorized-paid-representatives-portal.html

For future you can create your own GCkey for any new applications you wish to file and you already have your UCI and file number.

Hi,

Do you know whether "review required" in GCMS notes cause longer processing times? If yes, any estimation? Is there a reason for the difference of the avarege processing times between PNP-EE applicants and regular EE applicants( 9 months- 6 months) ?
