I am at 478, profile updated on 23 Oct. haven't receive mine, am I missing something? the status stays "submitted"
Studying in Canada isn't within your powers, compared to like say Express entry that's somehow based on merit. Students permit is highly based on discretion, and what certain people call grace.

if the university accepts you and if you are not a criminal or do have the sufficient amount then it is not a grace but a hard earned right
That ain't right. People are denied study permit for the flimsiest of reasons.
do you understand that canada makes a lot of money from international students? You have to of course verify your intention to study with documentation. But it is insane what you are suggesting. This express entry exists because canada makes money from immigrants. Every immigrant depending on their family size must bring at least 13000 CAD.
If it was just a money making effort, why would people flock around like this to get in? Canada offers something back too. A better life and hope. It’s a give an take.

There will definitely be one in November or December. But if it doesn't happen, the cut off will drop one or two points in each draw. It will still normalize by mid January.
dude learn french or study in Canada. That is the message here. Everybody intending to immigrate to Canada will try to learn at least basic French to gain additional points. I think points will hover around 480 and 490 next year because of French
