Question about noc 2233 and noc 7231

Hello everyone, question here. So I been working as a cnc programmer for a year ( I know it falls in 2233, but the duty I performed are more than that, which includes basic machine maintenance, tooling set up for different jobs and projects, tooling maintenance, cnc program).Can I change it to 7231 for the OINP ? What happens if I changed to 7231 ( a lot of the duty that I performed are matching this) .
