CPC-Ottawa - any movement for anyone? My profile has now remained fixed at "medicals passed" in the latest update section for almost a week now. Makes me believe this is not really a technical glitch.
No movement whatsoever. I am assuming that you are just catching the profile when it is in the 'medicals passed' state. In my opinion, it toggles between approved and medicals passed daily. As long as Ottawa does not actually start doing anything for expired COPRs beyond these frustrating and meaningless daily updates, it will remain a technical glitch. November has started and I haven't seen anyone with Ottawa reporting any 4 pointer emails nor ALs on this forum so either they are doing nothing or people are not posting them here.

what did you mean by IME extension- did the medical get extended for you by 6 month in the portal?
From what I have read on this group after the actual 1 year expiry date of your medical exam, it is being assumed that IRCC gave a 6 month auto extension on the same considering the current lockdown situation. But the 6 month extension too has expired for most of us. Mine expired yesterday

Unless you meet one of the current exemptions mentioned on https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/travel-restrictions-exemptions.html , you cannot travel(at least that is what the official word is).

Not sure what your reason is for wanting to travel so urgently despite a COPR expiry that far away but I would suggest waiting till the end of this year before contacting IRCC to see if Canada does change exemptions and you do get to travel then.
