I guess no priority is given to inland applicants also, I am Inland CEC applicant DEC10,2019 AOR.
Inland folks waiting are all work permit holders? If on a visitor visa I wonder whether there is any difference and dependency on the home country. Also was inland applied while being inland or was the move after application?

I applied outside from USA - lived 12 years in USA and born in India. After applying I came in work permit to Canada. I also had claimed 50 points for job offer. I was waiting too beyond 6 months.

Added to this I added and removed my husband prior to AOR. And he is in USA.

So the whole Outland and inland confusion was there in my case.

However since I probably didn’t travel several years outside of USA - I really didn’t have second visa office outside of Canada. No USA office or India office. That was one good thing in my case I believe as I didn’t have dependency with another country office for my case.

And still was stuck probably because of my husband being Outland and he was still in my application. Also because of one of my webform request for family reunification, they probably were waiting for him to come inside Canada (he had open work permit) and he being added in the application in the past (he had completed his education evaluation and our points doesn’t go down and since we cleared at the highest cut off ever for FSW it would have been easy to add him). I needed to clarify to them that he isn’t coming now and to issue PR for me.

And then several rounds of proving through webform that I am indeed inland and working here. Then finally got

If the other inland cases who are waiting are full and full inland with no dependency on someone outside or some office outside, then I wonder why they would delay?

Office low operations doesn’t seem valid too as some of you have got COPR print queue or everything needed done. It’s really matter of the PDF upload to your account? Someone signs one last time? And they are busy with some other priority cases?

My spouses sponsorship they have not even opened yet since August. So doesn’t seem like family reunification spouse cases either... but some did get AOR recently so they do seem working on spouse cases if anyone here is spouse based AOR.

In fact, their current operational instructions is only if ALL family members in Canada, then case will be processing. Else, file will be placed ON HOLD until travel exemption be lifted someday.

In my case one IRCC agent on phone said it doesn’t matter only primary applicant location matters. But I kept insisting that he is unaccompanying as per my application (I had removed him when I submitted for express entry FSW). I don’t think agents had clearcut instructions those days in spring/summer.

Hi,
I think yours must be nearby as I have seen many inlanders getting COPR who applied back in Dec. 2019. Even I am FSW- inland Dec. 11, 2019 and I just got COPR in Oct.
Hope so, Waiting eagerly. I told u before I think i missed their call on Oct 21 morning around 10a.m. not sure though it was a unknown number(No caller ID) and nobody left any voice message. So, not sure who was it.

I also called IRCC later in the day to confirm whether they called me but they denied and said we will contact via email or cic account. Also received my GCMS yesterday COPR status still says "NOT STARTED" though its validity is till 05 May 2021. Let see when they will contact.

Guys i want to ask something. Maybe someone have same experience with me. Our medical will expire in December 4 and the last time they review our application was July 2020. Is there a tendency that they will pick up our application and start to review it again these coming days since our medicals is about to expire?

@legalfalcon do you have any thoughts about it?

If you are an inland applicant they will most likely extend your medicals.

Actually I had the same question as my medical expires on December 8th. Are you inland or Outland?

I received PPR and submitted my passport for stamping. It’s been a week. Today received an email from CIC to check my account for the status changes. What does that mean? My medical also will expire in 2 to 3 weeks from now.
where was your passport sent to and when was it delivered?

If your medicals are about to expire, or have expired, IRCC will send them to be reassessed by the Regional Medical Officer to be evaluated for either an extension or remeds.

This does not guarantee that just because your meds are expiring, the officer will work on your application for other stages.
