Hi @legalfalcon , @caipsnotes ,

first of all really thanks to you guys for being with us, helping and motivating at this hard time.I have a doubt based on my analysis that every category is getting coprs/updates except fsw inlands. I have seen in whatsapp groups, other forums chats and based on that it seems that cpc ottawa might have kept fsw inland applications on hold till they clear fsw-o, cec.

Do you guys think it can happen as nobody from feb , mar aor for fsw inlands has got any updates ( based on people’s responses with whom i am in contact) ? Can we do anything to resolve this situation?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
Hi @Ramsay123 thanks for reaching out. IRCC operations are constrained right now and is affecting applicants in many and different ways. As an applicant there is not anything you can do to get a movement on your file, other than just patiently wait for things to sort itself out. These stats show how immigration overall has been affected this year

Hi guys,
Got my GCMS today. I am glad that my application is approved. It was approved last month but the online portal did not have any ghost updates and the portal still says we are processing your application.
I have few questions on my GCMS notes,
1. On the correspondence section I have the following

CORRESPONDENCE OUTGOING: New item created
Created By: <New Agent ID>
Created Date:
Document: Application Transferred
Type: WORD
Due Date:
Status: NOT STARTED
Assigned To: RC-9515 (Ottawa VO ???)

ITEM(S) REQUESTED: 1
ITEM: KIT, Application Forms
Due Date: 2020/06/30
ITEM FOR: PA
Via: Online
Has anyone seen something similar and know what it means? I did not receive any emails or no updates on the portal either.. so not sure what is this about.

2. On the group's section it says assigned to CN-COVID group

Group# 2-TRG34LC
CN COVID PACE
Status: In Progress
Type: PR - Other
Is anyone in the same boat as I am ?? Need some info regarding these..

1. This is just transfer of application from one office to another (it is internal transfer and documents requested means nothing because electronic applications transfer instantly online)
2. This means your application approval is pending due to covid 19 situation (many approved applications are in this group- specifically outland, CN refers to central network within canada), I dont know why yours is in this group, have you got any dependent outside canada?

Hi everyone, silent follower here, first time posting. Just got my PPR on 14 Oct 2020.

Massive thank you to @legalfalcon and @caipsnotes. You’re both so amazing, and the world needs more selfless, wonderful people like you.

Type: FSW-Outland
AOR: 31 March 2020
Medicals passed: 16 June 2020
Biometrics: 7 July 2020
GCMS notes ordered: 5 Oct 2020
PPR: 14 Oct 2020
COPR: *soon*
VO: Sydney, Australia
Country of origin: Nigeria
Country of residence: New Zealand

This application caused me so much anxiety, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. There was a lot of tears, prayers, sleepless nights, wishes, doubts etc.
So, I’m encouraging you all to please be patient. I know it’s very hard, but your time will come.
From my observation, if your application past the 3-4 months mark, you’re mostly safe; unlikely to get rejected, unless under crazy circumstances.

It’s just the waiting game now!

Thank you to canadavisa forum, for making me feel like I belong to a family/community; answering my questions.
Thanks to immigration tracker as well. If you don’t know, they summarize the journey of others as well, from AOR to PPR in a nice table.

Best wishes to you all… See you on the other side. Mwaaaaah! <3
Hi,

Can you please share your NOC code? And aee you sude your visa office was Sydney Australia, because PPR request usually comes from local visa office even when it is finalized inside Canada. Thank you

Hey @Sadia95 I checked my portal after seeing your comment because my biometrics exemption was updated on the same day as you and it looks like mine was approved as well. Is it normal for us to not receive an email though? I see a COPR number and everything but no email, not even my spam, on PR card instructions.

Yeah you have to send new photos once you get your copr
Hmmm looks like duplicate effort. For the people who are giving biometrics recently they should use these photos they clicked.
