Yes, I did and received it on July 30th.

Both eligibility and security were not started, so I guess it may be related to this. The rest of the checks marked completed.

Hopefully, within two weeks we may receive positive news as that's the pattern CPC-M showed for applications that received ghost updates.

Good to know. I hope LVO has a similar pattern, its very weird that so many VO's gave out ghost update on last Monday without any real update so far.

We received one ghost update after pre-arrival, nothing else. We have not given biometrics either.

In my case, I have not recieved the ghost update; not before or after the pre-arrival.

Most people here who got pre-arrival they got ghost-update before and also smotimes after too. Not sure why that is not the case for me. What could this mean?

Application recieved: Feb 19
AOR1: Feb 29
Biometrics request: Sep 17
Biometrics: not yet given due to closed VACs
SA: Sep 18
Medical request: Sep 18
Medical date: Sep 21
Application transfered CPC-Ottawa: Sep 30
Medical passed: Oct 6
AOR2: Oct 16
Pre-arrival: Oct 21

Hi Everyone, we received our AOR1 3 months back and application was received on March 3rd, 2020 by CIC. Since then, lots of other people have gotten biometrics, medical requests etc...and we have nothing since then. Is this normal?

Its linked by our immigration lawyer, but we dont have linked from our side. So he sends us updates and it says 62% done but only AOR1 received.

so im guessing Ottawa doesnt send aor2 out... i got the moved to VO on the 30th sept and on ecas its just changed to in progress again on the 22nd oct

Yes, you are right. They do not send out AOR2. My application is there too, update on ECAS is your AOR2.

Not sure, two members from here has similar timelines as me and similar case. And they both got gost-updates from CPCO.

IRCC has confirmed that all the actions announced by IRCC to speed up the processing of applications is for the files inside Canada and it does not affect the visa offices abroad.
No effect on family reunification for the applications in VOs.

So all those processed in Ottawa are the ones that are for sure fast tracked.

Yes and Outland processed inside Canada. They are not sending xtra agents abroad.
