Hi,
I have an admission from a Canadian university. Can my sister who is a Canadian citizen be my full financial supporter for my study permit application? She can show proof of funds that she can afford to pay all my expenses.

It needs to be clear that the money is specifically set aside to pay for your tuition and living expenses in Canada, and that you will return to your home country after studying and not stay with her.

Thanks for replying. Is it enough if she shows she has it in he account? Does the fact that she is in Canada is a negative point?

She needs to transfer all the money into your bank account for at least 6 months without touching it before you apply for a study permit. Not just showing it in her bank account.

She don’t need to do that if she can provide an affidavit of support duly signed and attested by notary.

That’s incorrect. She can have the money in her account.
