@legalfalcon greetings I discovered your thread replies please help me too

As soon I completed high school I joined for my
bachelor degree(business) in (distance education) and I started working full time from the day I started my bachelors.

My degree is 3 years (ug)

Wes Canadian equivalent is 3 years bachelors

My degree is wes approved

I guess in wes they would mention that it's a correspondence degree too in wes report

My work is full time and paid
I have salary slips, references letter, tax files

My work and studies have no connection, in the sense I've read somewhere "if work is a part of studies we can't claim that experience"

Can I claim points for my work experience (3 years)

Or is it that, the experience from the day after completing bachelors is counted as experience for EE.

Please give me your thoughts and insights to this also if you know anyone who's succeded with a similar profile as mine let me know

Thank you so much!

Hi @legalfalcon, I got a Request Letter from IRCC on 28th September 2020 to upload the Height and Eye Color for myself and my spouse, 18 months travel history and passport scans. However, I got only two upload slots. I uploaded Height, Eye Color and Travel History in one PDF file with table of contents, and in another PDF file I uploaded all passport scans of me and my spouse. The profile kept saying Your action is required even after I uploaded everything on the very same day. My due date was 8th October 2020 to upload all documents.

I raised a webform to enquire about the issue, I did not receive any response for the webform but on 16th October 2020, I got an update on my profile profile, my previously showing medical pass date has now disappeared and it says you do not need a medical exam, we will send you a message if this changes.
The main profile went back to "your action is required" even though I have uploaded all the requested documents in the given upload slots. My Review of Additional Documents shows "Not Applicable". The document upload table shows that IRCC has received all the documents and its all in green color.

Please enlighten me on this.

Hi,

I have seen many people onward October 2019 AOR got PAL, but still i haven't got it.

Is this worried for me ?

Second i have been requested in February for Licence history, PCC and RPRF and i had submitted only licence history and RPRF because i had already submitted PCC when i submitted my file in in October 2019.

Do you think is this worry for me ?

Should i go for Upfront medical because i have noticed lots of people (Inland) got COPR who had gone through upfront medical ?

If you work was outside Canada, you can claim points of it even if was done along with your education.

As regards the work experience, it does not have to be after your education, as IRCC has clarified "The applicant does not need to demonstrate that they meet the “employment requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description."

After all stages of an application are passed, IRCC does a final review before sending out the PPR and approving the application. During the final review the bio details of all members is asked along with the scans of the passport. So that is a good news.

Also as a part of the final review IRCC ensures that all documents such as passport, medicals etc are valid. If your medicals are about to expire, IRCC will send your medicals for reassessment to the Regional Medical Officer (RMO), who makes a determination on whether to extend it or ask for a remed, this is where you see a change in your medical son your MyCIC account.

After you submit your documents via the MyCIC account, the status changes to not applicable.

Your application is almost at the final stages and you should get the PPR soon.

All the best!

License history or what? Is it for Australia? When you ask a questions please provide a context to what spur application is for and about.

Hi @legalfalcon

Although Visit Visa is currently not that active for Canada. Still I wanted to ask you a question about the Visit Visa of the Parents of a PR.

Firstly, Do you think Its a good idea to apply for parents Visit Visa of a new PR who has yet to land in Canada as a PR? Like I need my parents to help me settle in Canada initially so is this reason good enough to get a visit visa for them?

Secondly, is there any advantage of an applicant(PR) who is the only child of their parents in case of his parents to get visit visa?

Finally, What documents can be provided by a retired parents to show strong ties of them with the home country and that will be enough to get them a visitor visa?

Thank you so much and your kind elaboration on the above will be greatly helpful. thank you.

IF you are not yet a PR, you cannot invite your parents, so the reason that they will be visiting Canada to visit you, when you are not even there is not a good reasons. However, once you land in Canada as a PR, you can sure write a letter of invitation which will support their case. Also, your parents will also be eligible for Parents Super Visa if you meet the income requirements.

If you want to get a visa now, I.e. before you land, they can get one based on visiting Canada and you can explain that they intend traveling with you. However, since there are travel restrictions, all non discretionary travel is not allowed, and unless you land in Canada as a PR, your parents cannot claim family reunification exemption.

Hi there @legalfalcon ,
In our PPR-email it is mentioned that we need to mail/courier our photos.
We are visa-exempt, so we only need to send our photocopies of our passports.... It says:
Note: Visa exempt applicants with an online account are not required to submit a physical copy –please upload this information to your online account.

I just logged in on our EE account (gckey) and noticed that there isn't any new possibility to upload this photocopies.
Could you tell us how to upload them on our account?
- By webform
- By reply to the PPR email at IRCC.CIO-BRCD.IRCC@..............
- By email at the adress where they ask us to inform them about inability to meet the deadline at LDNIMMIGRATION@.............
- By any new possibility on our EEprofile that should appear

We are so exited to finally receiving the PPR that we are very anxious to make mistakes at this point!
Thank you in advance!

Congratulations on your PPR.

The photos are usually returned with the COPR and collected when you land in Canada. However, since they have asked you to submit them, send them via webform. In the webform explain the issue. Also at the same time send them an email to IRCC.CIO-BRCD.IRCC@....

All the best!

@legalfalcon thanks for your insight. I am sharing the scenario of my parents to apply for visit visa.

My parents both are retired and have their own apartment in their country, they have around 165K $ in the form of FD & Stock. & they are also involved with international organization here in their country. However, they have no travel history because they don't feel comfortable to move out of their own country.

A.) In this situation, in order for them to get their visitor visa of Canada approved, would you strongly recommend me to land in Canada first and then after 2 months of landing I can send invitation letter & apply for them? and do you think considering our case, explaining their intention to travel with me and applying for their visit visa before my landing won't be a good idea?

B.) As I am their only child, so do you think it might be an extra benefit for me to secure my parents visit visa when i apply for them?

I am considering the NON-COVID situation for their apply as I will only apply for them once all the travel restrictions are withdrawn.

If you go with scenario a, your chances will be better. Not that you cannot get one with scenario b, but if you compare, a will surely have a higher success rate.

Just upload the WES report, no need for LoE, since you have already provided the supporting documents.
Hello @legalfalcon ,

Two days ago my application status got changed to "Application updated". One thing I noticed that my wife's name got changed to before marriage name but her ADR had post marriage name.
Is this a glitch or should I raise a Web form?

Thanks for all your help.

The name as it appears on the passport is what IRCC will take into account and will be shown on all documents. If the name does not match with the passport, you can send a webform to clarify .

Hello @legalfalcon

I have received the following response through webform :

Your application is currently in process at the Centralized Intake office in Sydney, Nova Scotia:
  • The responsible office has completed verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied.
  • The background verifications are currently valid:
    • The security background verification are currently valid.
    • The criminal background verification are currently valid.

Can I assume from this my eligibility is passed??, have already requested GCMS notes 38 days ago but not received yet, My AOR is 28th March, outland.

Thanks for all your help.
