Hello,

My wife and I are both American and are in the process of getting PR, but we are currently TRV workers.

We had a child here in March, and he is a Jus Soli Canadian with his passport and everything. We would like his grandmothers to visit, but the IMM0006 form doesn't have a section for a guardian of the citizen to sign. Does anyone know if our situation makes us ineligible for extended family visitors?

Thanks

Sam

Hi there,

I have the same question with you. Have you found out how to solve this?

Thanks

Until your child is 18, they aren’t legally eligible to sponsor. Nothing stopping your mother from applying for a TRV to visit.
