CPC Mississauga Updates?

Looking at the forums, I think that Indians are scrutinized more on spousal sponsorship application or may be they need to verify something with some office in India, but its all closed due to Covid. Many decisions were made, but I didnt see much Indians applied to Mississauga office getting approved. Any one's spouse from India got decision recently on spousal sponsorship ?

Yes , no movement in my file as well since may 2020. Submitted CSQ in July 2020 and my gcms notes say anothing moved so far. I'm guessing there is some form of dependency on Indian Visa offices to move forward.

I’ve read in other forums that the visa office in India is closed, for at least October. Someone else posted that their lawyer spoke to someone and they said that even though their application is done, they can’t issue the decision made since India is their visa office.

hopefully things get better and they find a way to open the office or work remotely. that’s a huge portion of applications that can’t be worked on if the visa office isn’t open.

In this case it might just be a Quebec specific block of some kind. PA in our application is from the United States and we're still waiting on that medical request after CSQ was sent in July. I haven't seen any evidence of anyone with an outland application having anything happen post-CSQ from CPC-M in the last few months. Other VOs seem to be moving on these though.

Same here..... I submit my csq in July.....no update after that.....

The thing which makes me very frustrated and angry is that, IRCC is not telling us the reason for not processing Indian applicants or others as well... They are keeping us in the dark during these already tough times... If they tell us the reason and give us an appox date they will process, our anxiety and stress would much decrease...

Exactly.......there is no timeline....

Is there a way to contact CPCM about specific applications? We're way past 1 year for our application and we're seeing applicants who submitted this year getting approved and PPR from CPCM.

It's frustrating how they can forget about old applications. and start picking up newer apps.

What is your principal applicant's country of residence??

Philippines. It would be helpful if we can have a phone number to actually follow up cases. I tried calling the CPCM number and just got an automated version of what we see in ECAS

If your in Canada... Search for your local MP office. You will get all their contact information. I believe you email but you should be able to call for more instructions. Good luck

Just noticed and found my application in the "Application/Profile updated" status on the GCKey account. I tried to check but the request is timing out. Anyone from DEC 2019 batch noticed the same?
