Hello friends,
Can any one tell me if AIPP is accepting application for 7511? I read on New Brunswick site that they have made changes in this NOC, which says that from 1 Oct.2020 , the applicant must hold NB class 1 license and that should have min. 9 months of exp in NB. What does it mean? How can a foreign worker get license before reaching NB, keep aside 9 months of exp. This is very confusing. Please anyone can clear this doubt. Thank you.

No, trucking is not being accepted under AIPP. Once main reason was because of retention. There was no incentive for PRs to stay in the Atlantic provinces. Trucking employers in New Brunswick want to retain people so that is why they moved in this direction. You will need a job offer with a positive LMIA. Then you apply for a closed work permit. This way the employer can train and retain you.

Thank you. What I understood from what you said is , one can apply for trucking WP under AIPP, if, any employer offers him job and positive LMIA, right?

No. You don’t apply through AIPP but the province’s PNP program so check the province’s immigration website. Assume you are an experienced trucker & it is your NOC. Try & secure job offer & positive LMIA in New Brunswick. Then apply for closed work permit. Work & train in NB & then apply for PNP. Nova Scotia & PEI aren’t accepting the NOC under AIPP either
